A historic community asset in the heart of Enfield Town
Enfield Market Place is truly situated in the heart of the Town. Established in 1632, it was the site from which the modern layout of Enfield Town was taken and today it is a picturesque location, framed by the Grade II listed Kings Head and St Andrews Church. In the centre there is a Market House, otherwise known as the bandstand where bands, buskers, educational activities and demonstrations entertain or inform shoppers on our three market days, and the Market Place still retains it's cobbled floor.
In addition to our Thursday to Saturday weekly market and the many additional events we plan throughout the year such as the Frost Fair, Vintage Weekend and Christmas Markets, we welcome enquiries from groups and individuals wishing to utilise our licensed Market Place.
